Senior Data Analyst - Credit

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take us to the next stage of growth across the Credit department. The successful candidate will have experience developing analytical solutions and assisting with data‑driven decision making, while managing stakeholders across a broad range of functions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business impact through actionable insights and identifying key opportunities for rapid growth.
• Build dashboards that provide accurate and actionable insights.
• Work with the data engineering team on the data enrichment needs of the product team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to prioritize projects based on impact and drive delivery.
• Develop processes to identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, empowering informed decision making.
• Ensure governance and act as a steward of good analytical practices throughout the process.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in data analytics.
• Expertise in Credit Risk Analytics or Collections is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science or another analytical field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands‑on experience using programming (Python, R) to manipulate large data sets for insights.
• Proficiency in SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of finance, risk, or product domains.
• Experience with Machine Learning tools and techniques in R or Python is a plus.
• Experience using data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
• Experience creating dashboards with Apache Superset is a bonus.
• Background in a high‑growth startup or unicorn is a bonus.
