About the role

The Senior Emergency Management and Business Continuity (EMBC) Specialist will lead disaster‑management initiatives for Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) and its partners, ensuring robust processes are in place for catastrophic events. This role supports both strategic planning and day‑to‑day operational continuity across Saudi Aramco‑related healthcare facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initiatives that position JHAH as the primary medical disaster responder for Saudi Aramco.
• Mentor less senior staff and support strategic projects.
• Implement Corporate Policy 009 Resilience EM and Program 002 Emergency Management.
• Coordinate 24/7 staffing for the JHAH Command and Control Center.
• Align protocols with Saudi Aramco’s Top Corporate Risk guidelines and loss‑prevention policies.
• Identify risk‑mitigation and business‑continuity challenges across all JHAH facilities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a related field (PhD/Fellowship preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in emergency management, business continuity, or related healthcare roles.
• Professional certifications in medical/health fields or parallel EM&C qualifications (BDLS, ADLS, Decontamination).
• SCFHS license preferred.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
