Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead to drive the implementation and day‑to‑day coordination of encryption, Key Management System (KMS) and Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions for a major enterprise cybersecurity project in Dammam. The role will serve as the primary onsite technical authority, working closely with entity teams, OEMs and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onsite implementation and operational activities for encryption, KMS, HSM and related cryptographic solutions.
• Coordinate technical work between project teams, OEMs, infrastructure, database, network and security groups.
• Review, approve and supervise technical changes, configurations, implementation plans and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with design, security requirements and project standards.
• Drive technical testing, integration validation, acceptance testing and remediation of findings.
• Maintain high‑level and low‑level design documents, runbooks, test cases and operational documentation.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and knowledge transfer to engineers within the encryption workstream.
• Support incident investigation, complex troubleshooting and transition to BAU operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, IT or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, encryption, key management, HSM or related technical environments.
• Proven experience leading enterprise security technology implementations.
• Strong documentation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working with Saudi government, regulated or critical‑infrastructure environments is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite in Dammam.
