Senior Executive Manager - Business Enablement & Strategic Transaction

About the role

This role reviews and assures the commercial legal advice and strategic transaction support given to Bupa Arabia and its subsidiaries, ensuring legal solutions are commercially sound and within the company's risk appetite. It is a middle-management position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the section's workload, priorities and resources, monitor service delivery against agreed standards and guide direct reports on their daily legal work.
• Review commercial agreements, procurement contracts and routine business matters, validate drafting and negotiated positions, assess contract risks and escalate terms outside agreed authority.
• Oversee legal support for investments, acquisitions, financing and joint ventures, evaluate partnership and subsidiary transactions, scrutinise transaction documents and due diligence reports, and recommend transactions and closing documentation.
• Identify legal and contractual risks in material engagements, evaluate exposure and recommend mitigation strategies, and escalate material risks with recommendations.
• Review complex legal work products for quality and consistency, verify advice follows agreed standards, recommend standards, precedents and templates, and validate guidance notes before release.
• Coach, mentor and appraise direct reports, encourage knowledge sharing, and recommend succession plans for critical roles.

Required profile

• 8 to 10 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation and contract risk management.
• Strong expertise in commercial, corporate and transactional legal matters.
