Senior Expert – Green Transition & Water Management

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the EU‑funded Egypt Downtown Facility project. The Senior Expert will provide technical assistance on Egypt’s green transition, climate action, sustainable water management and related policy and investment priorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in environmental sciences, climate change, energy, engineering, economics, sustainable development or a related field.
• Fluent English (C1); Arabic highly desirable, French an asset.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in green transition, climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency or environmental sustainability.
• Proven experience preparing sector assessments, diagnostics, feasibility studies, policy papers or investment‑related analyses.
• Good knowledge of EU climate, energy and green transition policies and relevant international frameworks.
• Knowledge of water, sanitation and environmental management.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the MENA region is desirable.
