Senior Field Technical Engineer

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Field Technical Engineer to join its Electrophysiology division in Riyadh. The role combines clinical support within EP labs and sales support for the regional EP business, ensuring customers receive high‑level technical service and product expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site clinical support for Abbott EP devices and equipment, including troubleshooting, demonstration, set‑up, testing and service.
• Deliver education and training to physicians and medical staff, both on‑site and remotely, covering device operation and best practices.
• Manage the EP business in the assigned region: monitor revenue targets, inventory levels and logistical requirements.
• Launch new products, conduct product certifications, and support sales and marketing teams with technical presentations and proposals.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with EP lab personnel and physicians, acting as a trusted technical resource.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in medical sciences.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in clinical or field engineering within the medical device sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong understanding of business concepts, quality‑system environments and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
