Senior Field Technical Engineer

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Field Technical Engineer to join its Electrophysiology division in Riyadh. The role combines clinical and sales support for EP‑lab devices, ensuring customers receive high‑level technical assistance and training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site clinical support for EP‑lab cases, including device setup, testing, troubleshooting, and service.
• Deliver educational and training sessions for physicians and medical personnel, both on‑site and remotely.
• Manage the EP business in the assigned region, tracking revenue targets, inventory, and logistical activities.
• Lead product launches, certifications, and demonstrations, supporting sales and marketing teams with technical expertise.
• Supervise assigned FTEs, coordinate their activities, and maintain professional relationships with physicians and lab staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medical sciences or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in clinical or technical support within the medical device sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
