Senior Government Sales Officer

About the role

This position is central to expanding and protecting revenue across the government segment for Riyadh Air, using the Ercab platform in partnership with Expro. You will manage a portfolio of ministries and government entities, delivering training and ensuring compliance with procurement rules.

Key responsibilities

• Expand and protect revenue across the government segment through the Ercab platform in partnership with Expro.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of ministries and government entities, focusing on account development and relationship management.
• Deliver training workshops for government users on booking flows, fare and bundle rules, and the airline’s product offering.
• Maintain and update user guides and reference materials as the platform evolves.
• Monitor daily production, identify revenue or service issues quickly, and coordinate effective resolutions.
• Support platform content updates, handle escalations, and coordinate joint promotional activities.
• Ensure all activities comply with government procurement and travel regulations and the airline’s commercial policy.
• Provide clear reporting on segment performance to shape priorities and drive growth.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with a minimum of 4 years experience in sales or account management within an airline, travel management company, or travel agency.
• Proven experience managing government or public‑sector accounts, delivering user training, and working with online booking platforms and government travel procurement processes.
• Strong ability to work with revenue data and produce structured, detail‑oriented reports.
