Senior Infrastructure, DevOps & SRE Engineer

About the role

Qahwa is building an AI‑powered operating system for modern coffee shops, unifying POS, inventory, accounting and reporting. We are looking for a senior engineer who will own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and reliability practices to support fast‑growing hospitality SaaS customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage cloud infrastructure and production environments.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Manage application hosting, databases, caching, networking and storage infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and incident‑response processes.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, performance and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Manage infrastructure security, access controls, secrets and compliance.
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure costs.
• Troubleshoot application‑level issues when required.

Required profile

• Experience operating production workloads in a cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of containerisation and deployment automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience managing relational databases in production.
• Experience working with distributed systems and caching technologies.
• Experience building or maintaining SaaS and multi‑tenant applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and incident‑response practices.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Self‑motivated, organised and results‑driven mindset.
