Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead risk‑based audits across multiple business units, evaluating financial and operational processes to ensure robust controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑based internal audits across various business units.
• Perform financial and operational audit fieldwork to assess compliance, control effectiveness, and data accuracy.
• Identify control weaknesses and operational gaps, analyse root causes, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and follow up on corrective action plans.
• Support annual audit planning through risk assessment and data analysis.
• Assist in fraud detection and investigation activities.
• Utilise data‑analytics tools to enhance audit testing and detect anomalies.
• Contribute to the improvement of audit methodologies and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen internal controls and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CISA) preferred or in progress.
• Minimum 7 + years of experience in internal audit, assurance, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, IIA standards, and IFRS.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report‑writing abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with audit and data‑analytics tools.
