Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead risk‑based audit engagements across the organization, assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying gaps, and delivering actionable recommendations to enhance governance, compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit programs aligned with the approved annual plan and internal audit methodology.
• Perform walkthroughs, interviews, data analysis, document reviews and control testing.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls, pinpointing risks, gaps and inefficiencies.
• Prepare clear audit findings, recommendations and supporting documentation for management review.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and verify implementation of corrective actions.
• Review compliance with company policies, delegated authorities, contracts and applicable regulations.
• Assess governance, risk management, segregation of duties, authorizations, reconciliations and access controls.
• Support special assignments, investigations, advisory reviews and other management requests.
• Maintain complete audit working papers in accordance with internal audit methodology.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes, tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on internal audit experience, preferably in end‑to‑end risk‑based engagements.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, risk management and governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing abilities with high attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems – Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS or NetSuite.
