Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audit engagements across Abdullah Al Othaim Markets. The role involves full ownership of the audit process, from risk assessment through to reporting, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal audit plans based on comprehensive risk assessments.
• Design and perform tests of controls and substantive procedures, and prepare Risk and Control Matrices.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and systems, and document findings.
• Prepare audit reports with recommendations and present them to management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand processes and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA or equivalent.
• 3 to 7 years of internal audit experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
