Senior IT Engineer – First Line Support (Saudi National)

The Senior IT Engineer (Saudi National) will provide first‑line support to users and help maintain the organization’s IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to users contacting the help desk by phone or email.
• Troubleshoot help‑desk tickets for both on‑site and remote users throughout the day.
• Investigate user problems, identify causes, determine solutions, and test and implement resolutions.
• Troubleshoot applications to correct malfunctions and operational issues.
• Research and analyze trends in help‑desk tickets submitted by team members.
• Assist with network and PC preventive maintenance and maintain company antivirus systems to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate daily IT requests such as adding/deleting users, maintaining email groups, and handling miscellaneous IT‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in technical operations or IT support.
• Experience with user software testing, evaluation, and operational procedures in a networked environment.
• Ability to provide effective support to both on‑site and remote users.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues before escalation.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
