Senior IT Planning & Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Planning and Strategy professional to lead the development, execution and continuous improvement of our IT strategy. The role ensures alignment with business objectives, drives digital transformation initiatives and oversees budget planning for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and execute the long‑term IT strategy, aligning it with corporate goals and business priorities.
• Own the annual IT planning and budgeting cycle, creating strategic roadmaps, investment plans and resource forecasts.
• Partner with executive leadership, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Architecture and business units to optimise IT investments and maximise business value.
• Lead IT portfolio planning, prioritising initiatives, monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish and monitor IT strategic KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics to support executive decision‑making.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, AI, cloud services and digital transformation, providing executive‑level recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT strategy, planning, enterprise architecture or PMO.
• Proven track record of developing IT strategies, technology roadmaps and managing annual budgets in large organisations.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
