Senior IT System Analyst

About the role

The Senior IT System Analyst will provide professional support across a range of IT programming, application, and operational tasks. The role involves designing, documenting, and coding program logic, as well as delivering technical training and guidance to end‑users and departmental staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing applications and create new routine applications to meet customer requirements.
• Research, design, develop, and test operating‑system level software, compilers, and network distribution applications.
• Document current architecture, design ideal‑state architecture, and develop deployment plans for emerging business needs.
• Maintain a roadmap for application development and prioritize work in line with business requirements.
• Lead and coordinate IT systems analysts on projects, providing technical leadership and coordination.
• Provide application support, define system requirements, and manage software conversions and upgrades.
• Create user documentation, departmental policies, and standard operating procedures for technology systems.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in IT systems analysis and application development.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to make high‑level technical recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for internal reporting and stakeholder engagement.
