Senior Launch Engineer – Interiors & Exteriors

About the role

Lucid Motors Middle East is looking for a Senior Launch Engineer to lead the launch and production ramp‑up of vehicle interior and exterior systems. The role bridges product engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers and program management to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead launch and production support activities for interior and exterior vehicle systems across prototype, pilot, pre‑production and SOP builds.
• Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, fit‑and‑finish, craftsmanship and supplier issues using 8D, 5‑Why and FMEA.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Quality, Program Management and Design Engineering to track, prioritize and close launch issues.
• Act as on‑site engineering representative during critical launch events and production escalations.
• Support continuous process improvements focused on quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive engineering experience in interiors, exteriors, vehicle integration, manufacturing, quality or launch engineering.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with global teams, including US‑based groups.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills, with willingness to work flexible hours.
