Senior Legal, Contracts & Compliance Manager

About the role

Thales is seeking a Senior Legal, Contracts & Compliance Manager to support its Director Legal, Contracts & Compliance across Saudi Arabia and Central Asia. The role will provide high‑quality legal advice, oversee contract lifecycles and ensure regulatory compliance while acting as a trusted advisor to business units and external authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal counsel on Saudi and regional laws, regulations and corporate requirements.
• Support commercial operations, projects, bids, tenders and contractual arrangements in close collaboration with contracts and commercial teams.
• Assist in managing disputes, claims and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle: drafting, review, negotiation, interpretation and alignment with internal policies and delegation of authority.
• Promote best‑practice contractual templates and contribute to governance and compliance initiatives.
• Support legal risk assessment and mitigation strategies across business activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate law, contracts and compliance within Saudi Arabia or the broader region.
• Proven ability to advise senior management and act as a liaison with Saudi authorities and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and risk‑management skills with a track record of handling complex disputes and litigation.
• Leadership potential and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
