Senior Linux & OpenShift Application Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Linux & OpenShift Application Support Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. You will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, and security of Linux and OpenShift environments while supporting containerized applications.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and administer RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux servers.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and troubleshooting of Linux systems.
• Manage users, groups, filesystems, LVM, NFS, DNS, SSH and network settings.
• Apply security hardening, vulnerability remediation and audit compliance.
• Develop shell scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Administer Red Hat OpenShift 4.x clusters, including deployment, upgrades, lifecycle management and security controls.
• Handle OpenShift objects such as Projects, Routes, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PV/PVCs and RBAC.
• Monitor, log and tune OpenShift performance; work with Operators, Helm charts, container registries and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support WSO2 API Gateway/Manager, WSO2 IAM, Strapi CMS, Apache Camel integrations, Redis clusters and ELK Stack environments.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux).
• Hands‑on expertise in Red Hat OpenShift 4.x administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with security hardening, vulnerability remediation and audit compliance.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation of operational activities.
• Experience supporting containerized workloads and CI/CD integrations.
