Senior Maintenance Technician – Powertrain Operations

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal equipment uptime and factory efficiency. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and developing preventive maintenance strategies for powertrain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, sensor, motion, and PLC‑controlled faults.
• Execute complex preventive maintenance, alignments, calibrations, condition checks, and component rebuilds.
• Lead root‑cause analysis (5‑Why) and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Coach technicians and operators on troubleshooting, safety procedures, and defect recognition.
• Maintain safety standards (LOTO, guarding, HV controls) and ensure product quality and traceability.
• Support stable production flow, takt/cycle targets, and rapid escalation of constraints.
• Drive cost reductions by minimizing scrap, rework, downtime, and energy consumption.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, QRQC, and tier meetings.

Required profile

• Senior‑level multi‑craft maintenance professional with extensive experience in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures across multiple domains.
• Strong coaching and knowledge‑transfer skills, especially for building local (Saudi) technical capability.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous‑improvement principles.
