Senior Manager – Audit & Assurance (Insurance)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Audit & Assurance engagements for insurance clients in Riyadh. The role involves strategic audit planning, risk assessment, and delivering high‑quality audit outcomes while fostering innovation and professional skepticism.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and communicate the entity’s strategic audit and risk priorities to stakeholders.
• Ensure risk‑assessment procedures are integrated into audit planning, execution, and result evaluation.
• Lead revenue testing using process flow diagrams, control‑reliance approaches, and fraud‑risk mitigation.
• Develop comprehensive project plans for complex engagements, including timelines, resource allocation, and contingency measures.
• Coordinate with component auditors, review referral instructions, and resolve issues in challenging environments.
• Drive professional skepticism by consulting experts and applying AI‑enabled audit tools where appropriate.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of public‑accounting experience, preferably with a Big‑Four firm.
• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, or CPA) with a degree in Accounting, Auditing or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, personal accountability, and commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other applicable accounting standards.
• Audit methodology and Deloitte’s audit tools.
• Application of AI in audit contexts, including prompt engineering and responsible AI governance.
• Risk assessment and materiality analysis.
