Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance – Middle East

About the role

The Senior Manager, Healthcare Compliance for the Middle East will act as the primary compliance officer for DePuy Synthes’ Orthopedics business across the region. Reporting to regional leadership, you will shape and execute compliance strategies that protect the company’s reputation while enabling sustainable growth in highly regulated markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of healthcare compliance programs aligned with global and regional priorities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, and professional‑education activities.
• Provide practical guidance to business leaders on regulatory requirements and ethical decision‑making.
• Embed effective compliance controls into go‑to‑market processes and monitor their effectiveness.
• Oversee core compliance activities such as training, monitoring, risk assessments, and issue management across the Middle East.
• Collaborate with Legal, audit, and regulatory teams to support investigations, audits, and regulator interactions.
• Track regulatory developments and industry trends to anticipate emerging risks.
• Prepare and present risk assessments and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience in healthcare compliance or related regulatory functions.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations in Middle‑East markets.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English; additional Middle‑East language skills are a plus.
