Senior Manager, Operational Excellence

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Operational Excellence across its manufacturing footprint. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive the strategic rollout of the Lucid Production System (LPS) and champion continuous‑improvement initiatives that elevate safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with factory targets and corporate objectives.
• Champion LPS principles, standardizing processes, eliminating waste, and scaling Lean practices.
• Own the Material Review Board (MRB) process, ensuring compliance and waste‑reduction deployment.
• Mentor leaders and teams in Lean, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Establish layered audit systems, process reviews, and compliance checks to sustain improvements.
• Leverage advanced data analysis to identify cost‑reduction and productivity opportunities; build KPI dashboards for real‑time visibility.
• Facilitate enterprise‑level Kaizen events and lead Gemba walks to uncover systemic issues and drive solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Lean or continuous‑improvement programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong track record of managing cross‑functional teams and delivering measurable performance gains.
• Excellent analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Effective change‑agent who can embed a culture of operational excellence.
