Senior Manager, Student Journey & Alumni Engagement

About the role

The Senior Manager, Student Journey & Alumni Engagement will lead the local delivery of alumni programmes within a globally connected ecosystem. Based in Riyadh, you will work closely with the British Council’s Alumni UK strategy to strengthen ties between alumni, UK education institutions and the Saudi market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement country‑level alumni engagement plans aligned with global Alumni UK priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with alumni, ambassadors, universities, employers and professional bodies.
• Coordinate the creation and distribution of communications, toolkits and storytelling content.
• Collect and analyse engagement data to inform programme learning and reporting.
• Plan and deliver networking events, skills workshops and community activities that foster alumni participation.
• Identify and promote alumni success stories that showcase the impact of UK education.

Required profile

• Proven experience in alumni relations, community development or international education.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong stakeholder management and networking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
• Legal right to work in Saudi Arabia.
