Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will join KBR‑AMCDE’s Saudi Arabian team, delivering design and engineering services for on‑shore and off‑shore oil and gas projects. The role involves working with state‑of‑the‑art technology and collaborating with experienced professionals to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, specify and select mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, heat‑transfer equipment and utility systems.
• Develop solutions for packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems.
• Design building mechanical services including HVAC, gas and fluid distribution, and vertical transportation.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate engineering work, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Lead small projects or project segments, managing budgets and timelines.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
