Senior Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

About the role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison – Oncology will act as a bridge between Novartis and the medical community, ensuring timely, ethical dissemination of clinical and scientific information on Novartis oncology compounds. The role collaborates with internal teams to develop and implement educational and clinical strategies for key healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map and engage medical experts, study investigators and guideline authors in alignment with the Integrated Product Strategy.
• Share up‑to‑date scientific, health‑outcome and clinical data on Novartis oncology products with healthcare professionals.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP requests, present globally approved data and involve HCPs in advisory boards, educational activities and publications.
• Educate HCPs on Novartis clinical research programs, recommend study sites and support trial feasibility, accrual and independent‑research agreements.
• Collect and report HCP insights to inform medical strategy and product planning.
• Serve as a local medical resource for disease‑area training and contribute to Medical Affairs strategy design.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant processes, including IIT and field interaction guidelines.
• Provide scientific education on patient‑critical issues and support internal capability building.

Required profile

• PharmD, PhD or MD degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison; oncology experience is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
