Senior MEP Manager

About the role

The Senior MEP Manager leads the planning, coordination and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and ELV works on large‑scale construction projects. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures that all MEP activities are executed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead MEP design coordination, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and monitor detailed MEP schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, architectural and interior teams to integrate MEP systems.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documents.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to achieve project milestones.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with local regulations and international codes.
• Oversee testing, integrated systems testing (IST) and snag‑free handover.
• Prepare regular progress reports for clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Support commercial activities such as variation orders, claims and cost control.
• Mentor project engineers and site teams, fostering a safety‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Engineering also acceptable).
• Minimum 15 years of MEP construction experience, including at least 7 years in senior project management.
• Proven delivery of luxury hotels, high‑rise towers or mixed‑use developments.
• Experience with Tier 1 main contractors is highly preferred.
