Senior MEP Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior MEP Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the construction of large‑scale entertainment projects. This senior position oversees all onsite field activities, from planning and budgeting to execution and client liaison, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall planning of construction activities, identifying critical milestones and priorities.
• Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
• Ensure subcontractor services and major equipment are available at the right time to maximize efficiency.
• Assign Construction Superintendents to work areas, monitor progress, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct performance evaluations, promotions, and salary recommendations.
• Manage allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment to meet schedule and budget goals.
• Anticipate and resolve scope changes, schedule slippage, and budget overruns.
• Guarantee critical milestones are met for each project phase.
• Implement sound construction practices to achieve quality control at maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and formal presentations for senior management and clients.
• Enforce company and client policies, including labor‑relations procedures.
• Serve as primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government officials.
• Maintain strong client and community relations, including presentations to local civic organizations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a construction‑related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 15 + years of direct experience constructing large concrete and steel‑frame structures through to finishes/fit‑out.
• Proven track record with Project Management Consulting (PMC) firms and main contractors.
• Broad knowledge of construction processes, industry practices, and contractual obligations.
• Demonstrated managerial capability on projects of comparable scope and complexity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
