Senior Migration & Mobility Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium to support the EU‑funded Egypt Downtown Facility project. The Senior Non‑Key Expert will provide high‑quality technical assistance on migration governance, mobility, legal migration pathways, border management and related policy areas, strengthening EU‑Egypt dialogue.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance on migration governance, mobility and legal migration pathways for Egyptian partner entities.
• Support border management and protection‑related policy development, ensuring alignment with EU migration and mobility instruments.
• Facilitate coordination between public authorities and international partners, and contribute to policy dialogue and institutional cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in migration studies, international relations, political science, law, public policy, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in migration governance, mobility, legal migration pathways, border management or protection‑related policies.
• Fluent English (C1); Arabic highly desirable; French an asset.
• Demonstrated experience preparing policy analyses, assessments, strategies or background papers.
• Strong knowledge of EU migration and mobility policies and cooperation instruments.
• Experience in Egypt or the MENA region is a plus.
