Senior Network Security Engineer (L3 Support)

About the role

Sirar by stc is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to provide Level‑3 support for its IT network security operations. The role involves handling escalations, incident response, and ensuring the stability and availability of security services 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Address and resolve escalated issues from L1 support, including security‑related incidents outside regular hours.
• Participate in system updates, upgrades, regular security reviews, and assessments.
• Support change management by documenting and executing system changes, coordinating with relevant teams.
• Conduct regular health checks, vulnerability identification, and disaster‑recovery drills.
• Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, vendors, and security professionals to resolve complex technical issues and maintain detailed ticket records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in network security operations, preferably in a telecom environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE, next‑generation firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco‑FTD), IPS, NAC, VPN technologies (IPSec, Dial‑up, SSL) and NAT.
• Intermediate knowledge of the six phases of Incident Response and solid system administration skills across multiple operating systems.
