Senior Planning Engineer (Power BI Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer with strong Power BI expertise to lead the development of a performance monitoring and reporting framework across our large‑scale projects. The role involves close collaboration with senior management and department heads to ensure data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive performance monitoring and reporting system for all project departments.
• Collect, validate, analyse and report key performance indicators (KPIs) ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities from performance data.
• Advise senior management on KPI selection, targets and performance metrics.
• Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Work with department heads to develop action plans addressing performance gaps.
• Coordinate with the IT team to maintain optimal functionality of monitoring tools.
• Mentor and train staff on performance monitoring best practices.
• Lead a team of performance monitoring professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a project‑management environment on large projects.
• Deep knowledge of professional project‑management processes, engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start‑up phases.
• Proven experience in continuous improvement, talent development and team leadership.
• Excellent analytical, report‑writing and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
