Senior Planning Manager

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead project planning and scheduling for large‑scale operational facilities in Saudi Arabia. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and ready for public opening.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules covering procurement, design, technology, delivery, facilities maintenance, tenant fit‑out, testing & commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with client departments, project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align objectives and maintain critical‑path activities.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and prepare regular planning reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify risks, devise mitigation strategies, and manage budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Mentor and develop planning staff, fostering skill growth and performance improvement.
• Utilize project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Power BI to track status and generate dashboards.
• Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during planning and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a proven record on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of planning principles, methods, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Preferred PMP certification and experience with operational‑readiness planning.
