Senior Procurement Specialist - Construction & Hospitality

About the role

KEO, an architecture and project management consultancy, is looking for a highly experienced, results-driven Procurement Specialist for a mega project in Al Madinah, KSA. The role covers the project's procurement and supply chain, with a focus on large-scale hospitality projects (hotels and mixed-use developments).

Key responsibilities

• Supervise procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage end-to-end operations including sourcing, purchasing, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Evaluate bids and make award recommendations to the client, ensuring compliance with local laws and Local Content requirements, and support price negotiations.
• Prepare procurement plans for high-value projects and develop procurement strategies, policies and procedures.
• Manage supplier relationships, including vendor selection, evaluation and performance management via KPIs and scorecards, and facilitate contract negotiations.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, track material and service availability against cost, quality and schedule, and monitor market trends and supply risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, construction and quality teams, prepare procurement reports and forecasts, and lead and develop the procurement team.

Required profile

• Minimum 15-20 years in procurement and supply chain within construction projects (hotel projects preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Hospitality and mixed-use building project experience is mandatory.
• Professional certifications such as CPP, CPPM, CISCP or CISCM are highly desirable.
• Experience in contract management, negotiation and supplier management, and in developing procurement strategies for large-scale operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP tools and Aconex is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
