Senior Project Manager – Nuclear (Riyadh)

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the design, licensing and site‑characterisation of a new nuclear facility in Riyadh. You will drive the end‑to‑end delivery of this high‑visibility project, coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and ensuring alignment with client and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle – scope, schedule, budget and risk – for nuclear facility development.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Support regulatory and licensing processes, guaranteeing compliance with nuclear standards and Saudi authorities.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues promptly and drive collaboration across internal and external parties.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and nuclear‑specific regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (Master’s optional).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (CRE, RMP).
• At least 10 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on nuclear projects.
• Proven track record in design, licensing and/or site‑characterisation activities.
• Experience on large‑scale infrastructure or energy projects, preferably in the Middle East.
