Senior Roads Engineer (Full-time)

About the role

ARX, a global engineering and design network, is expanding its presence in the Middle East with an office in Riyadh. We are seeking a Senior Roads Engineer to lead road and highway design for infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and oversee road and highway projects, including geometry, grading, intersections and pavement design.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading and engineering analyses.
• Ensure designs comply with local KSA regulations, standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans and documentation.
• Review designs and deliverables from engineers, designers and BIM/CAD teams, providing technical guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of KSA road codes, standards and authority requirements.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
