Senior Roads Engineer – Full-time (Riyadh)

About the role

ARX is expanding its presence in the GCC and seeks a Senior Roads Engineer to join its Riyadh office. The role involves leading the design and planning of road and highway projects across various infrastructure developments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and oversee road and highway layouts, including geometry, grading, intersections, junctions and pavement design.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian codes, standards and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate road systems into overall project designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans and documentation, and review deliverables from designers and BIM/CAD teams.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience on infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years working in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of road and highway design and construction practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
