Senior SAP Business Analyst (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Senior SAP Business Analyst will lead the analysis, design, and optimisation of asset‑integrity and maintenance systems across the organisation. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, the role ensures that SAP solutions support operational excellence and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and propose system improvements and automation.
• Support, enhance and optimise SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and related asset‑management modules.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and analytical reports for operational insight.
• Coordinate with business users, IT teams and external vendors to deliver system enhancements.
• Lead workshops, document requirements, and support testing and deployment activities.
• Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with corporate standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably with 5 years on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Background in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities or Industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, testing and implementation.

• SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) – Equipment Master, Functional Locations, Maintenance & Inspection Planning, Work Order Management.
• ABAP, OData, CDS Views, Workflow, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BADIs, BAPIs.
• SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), RAP development.
• Power BI development and advanced reporting.
• SQL for data extraction, validation and reporting.
• OSIsoft PI System or similar industrial data historian.
• ETL processes and integration between operational and enterprise systems.
