Senior Service Sales Engineer

About the role

KONE is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Senior Service Sales Engineer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role leads and develops mutually beneficial relationships between KONE and customers that are strategic or nationally or locally important, proactively identifies solutions and develops processes that add value to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships, build KONE's position in the customer base and market area, and create and communicate leads and sales opportunities for the whole sales team
• Ensure customer satisfaction, solve complaints with the rest of the team, and document customer and contact information
• Generate opportunities outside the current customer base and handle RFQs
• Own leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet sales budget and pricing targets, and match KONE's solution to customer needs
• Pricing using approved tendering tools, optimising prices and discounts within authority, and validating that contracts match the negotiation outcome
• Maintain the sales funnel, report accurately in the CRM, gather market and competitor information from the field, support finance in collections and execute the individual sales plan

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 7-10 years of direct sales experience in the vertical transportation business is preferred, with a solution-selling approach
• Good understanding of the service/maintenance business
• Fluency in English is a must; Arabic communication skills
• CRM experience is a plus
