Senior Specialist – Government and Regulatory Affairs

About the role

Keeta Drone is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead Government and Regulatory Affairs for its commercial UAV logistics operations in Saudi Arabia. You will be the primary liaison with aviation authorities and municipal bodies, ensuring that all flight permits and operational licences are obtained, renewed, and kept compliant with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end acquisition and renewal of commercial UAV flight permits and operational licences, coordinating with GACA and local authorities.
• Develop and execute government engagement strategies to secure regulatory approvals for drone logistics services.
• Monitor regulatory changes, Saudiization (Nitaqat) requirements, and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries such as food & beverage, healthcare, real estate, and education.
• Build and negotiate partnerships with supply providers and infrastructure partners, including leasing landing zones and supply hubs.
• Collaborate with internal technical, regulatory and operational teams to translate client needs into viable operational plans.
• Represent Keeta Drone at industry events, government forums, and prepare reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields, preferably within aviation, logistics or technology.
• Proven track record of obtaining regulatory approvals and managing compliance in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
