Senior Storage Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to manage and support enterprise storage and SAN infrastructure across multiple technologies and platforms. The role will oversee administration, performance, availability, capacity, security, and lifecycle management of SAN, NAS, object, block, file, software‑defined storage, vSAN, and SAN fabric environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise storage platforms across SAN, NAS, object, block, and file environments.
• Manage Software‑Defined Storage and VMware vSAN environments, including provisioning, LUN creation, masking, and mapping.
• Configure and maintain SAN fabric infrastructure, Fibre Channel zoning, and fabric connectivity.
• Monitor storage capacity, performance, availability, and health; perform capacity planning and optimization.
• Implement and manage storage replication, snapshots, disaster‑recovery solutions, and DR testing.
• Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 storage and SAN incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate vendor escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp or equivalent storage platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Fibre Channel, SAN fabric, zoning, LUN/volume provisioning, and storage performance tuning.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN, storage replication, snapshots and disaster‑recovery processes.
