Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Structural Engineer based in Riyadh, you will support the design and delivery of building‑structure projects across Saudi Arabia, working on mixed‑use, commercial, residential, hospitality, aviation, sports and high‑rise developments from concept through construction support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural design calculations, specifications, drawings, reports and design risk assessments.
• Analyse and design reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and foundation systems for gravity, wind, seismic, temperature and settlement actions.
• Coordinate structural solutions with architecture, geotechnical, civil, MEP, fire, façade and BIM disciplines.
• Review calculations, drawings, models and shop drawings, and respond to contractor technical queries.
• Support authority submissions, site inspections and technical assessments to verify compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Proven post‑graduate experience in structural design within an international consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and international standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC).
• Competence in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, Robot, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RAM, Tekla.
• Working knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination processes.
• Excellent English communication, planning and problem‑solving skills.
