Senior Sustainability Engineer

About the role

Hill International is seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer to lead low‑energy, low‑carbon building design initiatives across projects in Saudi Arabia. The role combines technical expertise in green‑building assessments with client‑facing responsibilities to drive sustainability performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on low‑energy, low‑carbon building solutions and develop sustainability strategies for clients.
• Conduct pre‑assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies to achieve targeted LEED/Mostadam ratings.
• Monitor design processes to ensure sustainability objectives are met throughout project development.
• Prepare technical reports, bids, proposals, and client portfolios, supporting the wider team.
• Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data, manage project progress, and maintain up‑to‑date building assessment information.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and low‑carbon solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report‑writing abilities.
• Proven experience in client and stakeholder management and project coordination.
