Senior System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to lead and manage complex IT infrastructure operations in an enterprise environment. The role requires deep hands‑on expertise with Nutanix HCI, Linux and Windows Server, and a strong background in system integration and database technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee enterprise‑scale infrastructure and system operations.
• Provide expert administration, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for Nutanix HCI platforms.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimise Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Integrate systems, platforms and infrastructure components across the organisation.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability and reliability, supporting high‑availability and disaster‑recovery requirements.
• Collaborate with network, security, database, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and technology implementations.
• Review technical designs and recommend improvements.
• Establish documentation, standards and best‑practice procedures.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers and participate in major incident management.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in system engineering, infrastructure or IT operations.
• Expert‑level hands‑on experience with Nutanix HCI.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Strong experience in enterprise system integration and database concepts.
• Understanding of virtualization, high availability, backup and disaster‑recovery technologies.
• Proven ability to support mission‑critical production environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
