Senior Trade & Investment Expert (EU Project)

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium to prepare the EU‑funded Egypt Downtown Facility project. The role supports rapid, flexible, high‑quality technical assistance to strengthen the EU‑Egypt strategic partnership, focusing on trade and investment policy, investment climate, private‑sector development and market access.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on trade and investment policy and EU‑Egypt economic cooperation.
• Analyze investment climate, conduct market access studies and develop recommendations to improve economic competitiveness.
• Prepare market studies, investment analyses, feasibility studies and policy recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, international trade, business, finance, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in trade, investment, private‑sector development or business‑environment reform.
• Experience preparing market studies, investment analyses, feasibility studies and policy recommendations.
• Good knowledge of trade and investment policy and private‑sector development instruments.
• Experience in Egypt/MENA region is desirable.
