Senior Virtualization Engineer (L2/L3)

About the role

Specialized Enterprise Systems (SES) is hiring a Senior Virtualization Engineer (L2/L3) for a client site in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for administering, supporting, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise virtualization platforms in a mission‑critical data‑center environment, providing advanced Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of virtualized workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Nutanix AHV, and related infrastructure technologies.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for virtual servers, clusters, hypervisors, virtual storage, and virtual networking environments.
• Monitor virtualization infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for virtualization‑related incidents, outages, and performance issues.
• Manage and maintain high‑availability and fault‑tolerant configurations supporting business‑critical applications and services.
• Plan and execute virtual machine provisioning, migrations, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning activities.
• Administer virtualization management tools, including vCenter Server, System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), and associated monitoring solutions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise virtualization and data‑center infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to relocate to the client site in Saudi Arabia within two months.
• Ability to work standard shifts with a 24 × 7 on‑call rotation.
