Senior Waiter/ess – Japanese Nikkei Cuisine

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Waiter/ess to join the Japanese Nikkei cuisine restaurant at Jumeirah The Red Sea. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service in a luxury hospitality setting, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly greet and escort guests, presenting seating options and daily specials.
• Explain menu items, preparation methods, ingredients and address dietary or allergy queries.
• Verify age identification for alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate special requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve dishes using proper techniques and uphold the restaurant’s service standards.
• Collaborate with F&B, Housekeeping and Front Office teams to ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of F&B service experience in luxury hospitality or high‑end dining.
• Higher Secondary School certificate or equivalent; basic Food Safety & Hygiene training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests and internal stakeholders.
• Diploma in Hotel Management or related certifications is an advantage.
