Senior Water Sports Instructor

About the role

The Senior Water Sports Instructor leads WAMA’s on‑water activities, ensuring guests enjoy safe, memorable experiences across a variety of disciplines. Reporting to the Watersports Centre Manager, you will oversee daily operations, uphold safety standards, and help shape high‑quality instructional programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of instructors across windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, SUP, kayaking and foiling.
• Oversee daily on‑water operations, guaranteeing compliance with health, safety and operational protocols.
• Design and deliver engaging, educational sessions for guests of all skill levels.
• Provide performance feedback, training and career development for instructional staff.
• Support the Watersports Centre Manager in achieving operational targets and guest‑satisfaction goals.
• Ensure activities align with WAMA’s service excellence and environmental sustainability standards.

Required profile

• Extensive instructional experience in multiple water‑sports disciplines.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong commitment to safety, guest experience and sustainability.
• Passion for delivering world‑class watersports experiences.
