Senior Windows System Administrator (Saudi National)

About the role

DeepSource Technologies is looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator based in Riyadh, KSA, who is a Saudi national. The role oversees and manages Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DHCP and DNS, and daily operational workloads, with a focus on stability, security and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and optimise Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, authentication and user/group management
• Configure and manage DNS, DHCP and other core network services
• Implement security hardening, access control, patching and compliance measures
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot using Windows Performance Monitor, Event Viewer and third-party tools
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies (e.g. Veeam, Windows Backup)
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks
• Follow ITIL best practices for incidents, changes and service requests
• Work with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity solutions
• Maintain documentation of configurations, policies and SOPs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator handling enterprise workloads
• Certification such as Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE preferred
