Server (Saudis Only)

About the role

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, the Server will deliver Fairmont’s Service Plus Standards, providing professional, friendly and warm service to guests at the Fairmont Makkah hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests according to Fairmont’s Service Plus Standards and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
• Maintain full knowledge of the menu, beverage list, special promotions and answer guest questions accurately.
• Handle cash and non‑cash transactions, prepare shift end reports and ensure safe deposit of monies.
• Attend pre‑meal briefings, meetings and follow all health, safety and recycling procedures.
• Operate all outlet equipment, follow food safety and sanitation policies, and report any suspicious activity to security.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in a luxury property.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, self‑motivated team player with a goal‑oriented attitude.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast‑changing environment.
