Servers & Storage Support – Physical Server & Mainframe Specialist

About the role

The organization is looking for a specialist to manage physical servers, storage systems, and mainframe environments in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance monitoring, and compliance with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, manage and control online storage based on I/O patterns, performance data and capacity planning.
• Configure and allocate storage capacity according to approved change requests and maintain detailed catalogues of allocation, utilization and access patterns.
• Perform storage compaction, data migration, archive management and monitor user directories for inactivity, providing regular reports.
• Support mainframe operations, including console event handling, batch job scheduling, recovery procedures and SLA compliance.
• Document issues, resolutions and operational activities while adhering to release and change management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with physical servers, storage systems and mainframe environments.
• Proven ability to work full‑time onsite and coordinate with IT teams for configuration and resource allocation.
