Servers & Storage Support – Storage / Hypervisor Specialist

About the role

The IT Systems Operations department is seeking a skilled professional to install, configure, and manage VMware virtualization solutions. The role focuses on delivering L2/L3 support for storage and hypervisor environments while ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer VMware vSphere Suite, including vCenter, ESXi, HA/DR, vSAN, and vRealize Operations Manager.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for virtualization and storage systems, troubleshooting server and virtual environment issues.
• Monitor system performance, conduct tuning, and manage resources to maintain optimal availability.
• Execute migrations, system upgrades, and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, reports, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to align virtualization management with business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization, hypervisor management, and storage operations.
• Proven ability to deliver L2/L3 support and handle performance tuning, system monitoring, and resource management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience executing migration, upgrade, and disaster‑recovery projects.
